Release Me by Julie Kenner

Image I got the honor of reading Julie Kenner’s new erotica before it was available. For fans of Fifty Shades of Grey and Bared to You comes an erotic, emotionally charged romance between a powerful man who’s never heard ‘no’ and a fiery woman who says ‘yes’ on her own terms. The female lead, Nikki Fairchild, has her issue’s but is a strong woman who truly knows what she wants. The male lead, Damien Stark, is yummy. He also has issues with control and trust. He does learn to give control over to Nikki when the time is right. This is such a well written book. Doesn’t have the feel of a high school aged person writing it like some other books do. You will  become so engrossed in this book and their story that you wont be able to put it down. I can’t tell you how many times I was asked what I was reading so intently. When reading this I would tend to ignore all around me.

Julie also has this way of developing her characters. As the story goes on and develops you can see exactly what each character looks. You understand where they are coming from. You even feel sorry for them as you learn more about their lives. Then when Julie starts describing the setting… Oh boy. You can actually see it as if it were a movie. At one point she describes how the curtains draped from the ceiling are blowing in the wind from the open balcony door. You can just see Nikki standing in front of these and Damien standing there watching her. When Julie describes the sunsets that Nikki loves so much you can’t help but see them as if you were staring at the same sunset.

So for those of you looking for another amazing erotica to read put this on at the top of your TBR. I can’t recommend this book enough. I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to read more from this genre by my friend Julie Kenner.

Please make sure that you check out her website, Facebook and Twitter for more information about Julie’s other amazing books. Also look for J.K. Beck.
